Eligibility Criteria

✅ Educational Qualification

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in any discipline.

• Knowledge of local languages/dialects may be preferred.

 Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 28 years

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST/OBC candidates: As per government norms

  • Government employees: May receive upper age relaxation

Required Documents 

Candidates must upload/submit the following documents:

1. Sikkim Subject Certificate (SSC) or Certificate of Identification (COI)
   – Issued by a competent authority under Sikkim Government orders.

2. Category Certificate
   – For SC/ST/OBC, issued by the Government of Sikkim.

3. No Objection Certificate (NOC)
   – For employed candidates, issued by the current employer or Head of Department.

4. Valid Local Employment Card
   – Must be issued by the appropriate government authority in Sikkim.

5. Marital Status Certificate (for female candidates)
   – If married, include your husband’s COI or SSC.

6. Service Certificate (if applicable)
   – For candidates already working in Sikkim Police for more than 5 years with clean service history, issued by the Police Department.
