Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) or its equivalent with:

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).

• Candidate must have appeared in JEE Main 2025 (mandatory from TES 46 onwards).

2. Age Limit

• The candidate should be between 16½ years and 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence.

3. Nationality

• Must be a citizen of India.

• Certain categories of candidates from Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan refugees are also eligible as per government norms.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting:

   • Based on JEE Main 2025 scores and academic performance (PCM marks).

   • Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interview.

2. SSB Interview:

   • 5-day selection process conducted at SSB centres (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, etc.).

   • Includes psychological tests, group tasks, interviews, and physical assessments.

3. Medical Examination:

   • Candidates recommended after SSB must undergo a detailed medical exam.

4. Final Merit List:

   • Based on SSB performance and medical fitness. No written exam.

Indian Army TES 54 Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army with a pay level of 10, starting at ₹56,100 per month, with progression up to ₹1,77,500. Other benefits include:
