Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

• Age Limit: Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as of August 1, 2025. For Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Services, the upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.

• Educational Qualifications: Applicants should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination.

  Selection Process

  The selection process comprises:

  • Written Examination: Two papers, each carrying a maximum of 250 marks, covering subjects like General Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Gynecology & Obstetrics, and Preventive & Social Medicine.

  • Personality Test: Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for a Personality Test carrying 100 mark
